Acting like a bunch of abused housewives after these last few seasonsLet’s be honest though someone will start a relegation 25/26 thread the moment we go a goal down on the opening day.

They spent 160 million, not 16. The owners have clearly rolled the dice and invested big money in an effort to compete and stay in the league, and they’ve failed miserably. Whichever way you slice it, they’ve completely wasted the vast majority of that money on bang average dross. You don’t need to be sorry mate, I couldn’t care less. I would imagine they knew it was going to be hard to stay up and so concentrated on trying to bring in players who they thought would keep/increase their value and put them in a position to come back up and then strengthen again with a view to staying up. I’d say it’s a better plan than bankrupting yourselves signing a load of expensive ‘PL proven’ players personally although obviously not ideal as a fan.
Sky don't do The Fa cupYou think??
Sky / BBC etc will have set up home at Mordor
Once we got our Davie we were always fine.4-0.. Safety was never in doubt.
I make it about £120m anyway but yeah they’re obviously not very good. Like I said, I doubt they expected to be and I reckon as a club they probably don’t think the business is quite as bad as you do, but if we’re judging them on whether the players they signed were supposed to keep them up as a primary aim then clearly it hasn’t worked for them. They spent 160 million, not 16. I think we'd have stayed up under Dyche but we'd still be nervous.Once we got our Davie we were always fine.
Is it? Leicester have ended up in exactly the same place as Ipswich and saved themselves 160 million in the process! I’m not sure Ipswich’ squad is any better than Leicester’s either despite that expenditure. I’d argue Leicester have had the better strategy here.Depends on the owners strategy I guess, maybe they're looking at it more as a long term plan and accept that with young players comes risks. It's a better strategy then Leicesters that's for sure
Really ?I think we'd have stayed up under Dyche but we'd still be nervous.
Perhaps but we’re in much better shape with wor davie.I think we'd have stayed up under Dyche but we'd still be nervous.
I do think so, as appalling as we were, we would have won more than 6 points in 14 with Dyche.Really ?
