That day we played anti-football.

Leading up to his sacking I just watched the match, no pressers, no previews, nothing.

Did not rate him at all.

Interesting how quiet (relatively) @davek is and @chicoazul is nowhere to be seen.

WE still should have scored 3/4 that game as well, with the early chances,the offside goal,and the shot v the bar secs before they won it, to name a few. Its looking more likely those 3 go now with the gap forming

Out of the bottom 3 Ipswich seem to have the most about them, with the best forward line, but losing to 10-man United yesterday would’ve been a serious gut punch.

Neither Southampton nor Leicester have enough about them to put a run together. Leicester might if RVN didn’t inexplicably drop their most creative players in Bounanotte and Mavididi, but for some reason they only ever come on after they’re losing.

The teams above them all have too much. Would be amazed if the current bottom 3 didn’t go down now.

It would have been awful to have still been involved late in the season, at least we can enjoy the last few games at Goodison now.

Other than the last two seasons we haven't been relegation contenders, and even last season it was only because of the points deduction.

And it's nice to be doing it through our own performances rather than just "three worse teams". I don't believe we'd have gone down under Dyche, but ONLY because of how bad the bottom three are, and certainly not as comfortably as we now will.

…I’d like two more wins but when you look at the table it’s startling to think we’re 15 points ahead of teams who’ve only got 17 points all season.

20+ points at Christmas is still my magic number but it’s been a wonderful turnaround in such a short space of time.

We stayed up final game under Dyche
We stayed up last year with 2 games to go.

And it's nice to be doing it through our own performances rather than just "three worse teams". I don't believe we'd have gone down under Dyche, but ONLY because of how bad the bottom three are, and certainly not as comfortably as we now will.

Even if Dyche wasn't Sacked and we lost the 8 games since then we would still be out of the bottom 3 on GD, that is how bad the bottom 3 are.
