The Now-Irrelevant 2024/25 Relegation Battle (Without Everton!)

We ae nowhere out of it. We in reality should not think anything else. we have gone a lot way to it. but we are not safe. Need a few players in this week to cover our Injuries.next week is a game we could/should win, which is usually the worst thing for us, as we can make hard work of it

It's all game by game. You're right, we're bad in games we "should" win, so it's a different test. We're certainly not suddenly good enough to think we can not be on our game against anyone and get away with it.

I just think we are giddy that, potentially, next week we could go 10 points clear. Utterly unthinkable just a few short weeks ago.

Not sure if waiting 3 weeks (with Christmas in the middle) to sack him is procrastinating tbh.

Waiting until the end of the season would have been very worrisome, potentially catastrophic even for sure.
I genuinely believe they thought Dyche would of been good enough to keep them up then go for a reset in the summer after those positive results he had before the takeover. They most likely didn't want a repeat of what happened in Roma this year. Personally, he should of been fired on day 1 as he was never good enough to do that, but i'm just spitballing what they were thinking. Whatever though. Moyes is in, they got that right and that's all what matters as it's better late than never.

Were out of it. If we put in shifts like we did today, we will collect points and stay up as Southampton, Wolves, Ipswich and Leicester are absolutely rank.

….it was six wins needed, now it’s just;

What a difference a week makes.

But that's not on TFG is it? TFG didn't get the keys unti 19 December. So it took them less than 3 weeks to sack him.

And they acted accordingly after a dire effort against Boutnemouth and Forest.

Can't be on them for that. Give them time to earn their negativity.
They should have sacked him on Day One. Do a Trump and sign an executive order to execute the manager.
