The Now-Irrelevant 2024/25 Relegation Battle (Without Everton!)

We desperately need 3 points against Bournemouth now, generally the results have gone not too bad in December until this round with wolves, palace and Ipswich winning, I honestly thought we'd be in the bottom 3 by Christmas and our results this month have been better then I expected but it's becoming tighter at the bottom now

Of course the Ipswich keeper got a 9 out of 10

You mean 'still' don't you?

I can't remember the last time I felt we were comfortable from relegation, outside of the end of the last few seasons when we were finally mathematically safe.
Never left it did we. Can’t be ran like we are and expect anything less.

I do think results like this will crystallise that the manager and players aren’t good enough and force some kind of action from TFG. New manager, three/four signings and we’re fine. Probably need to lose Beto/Armstrong & DCL though.

Nobody, he has to make stuff up to defend Dyche now because all of the actual evidence is that he's utterly useless.

We are right in it… again.

Just to put a positive spin on it. We are halfway through the season so everyone has played everyone once with a 2 point advantage and better goal difference. we have a game in hand, the Derby. We now have new owners who have money so we should be able to Trump the teams below us in the transfer window. We are effectively better positioned than we were before the season started in many respects and there was not as much gloom then.

Dyches days are numbered and the only thing stopping that is if he wins games and fast. And he will need to start that pretty soon.
