Homestyly have no idea who they even get in, i think is one of the most difficult jobs in europe. The whole club does not want to give time to build a team and just look so far away from it.

On the others hand you could say standards have slipped so far that any new manager would be deemed a success even to have them challenging around the top 6/7 this season, which is easily achievable with their squad and the no doubt heavy investment that will be made in January.

If we’re anywhere near the drop zone at the start of December then this manager should be sacked.

Well the games before then are Southampton, West Ham and Man. United away and Brentford at home.

Aren't going to do that just by beating Southampton, need at least another win and a draw to be comfortably clear of bottom 3 going into Wolves I reckon. Man. United is probably a write off now as that will be probably the next manager's first league game at Old Trafford. West Ham could go either way but Summerville made a difference for them yesterday so don't fancy Young trying to contain him.

Can't be dropping points v Brentford imo. They're an awkward team to play but won home and away last season so one of those like Palace where a Dyche team can nulifiy their strengths. That's the sort of game you need to be winning at home to stay up with room to spare.

Yep. He’s left himself needing to go on a run now in order to pull us away and save his job imo. Made that particular bed by losing the first 4 games and dropping points away at Leicester and at home to Fulham.

I don’t expect us to be, because we weren’t last season without a points deduction and we’ve strengthened the squad since then. So if the manager is putting us in one then he should be sacked.

The point deduction made life loads harder last season just from the sheer pressure it piled on+uncertainty - but even with the point deduction reinstated, we didn't hit 40 points until 33/34 games. Our form from April;

A team fighting relegation for consecutive seasons are in a relegation fight until they aren't.

Last summer we also didn't invest in the team, the only Premier League team to go three seasons making a profit.

There's a reason we were/are amongst the favourites to go down.

So after 3/4 years of relegation form/point average - them to not expect us to be in a relegation fight because Dyche got a bit more out of the team that for 2 prior seasons earned 36/39 points is optimistic to say the least.

I put a tenner on a few months ago at 16 to 1. Same for Chelsea although that looks a wasted bet.

I think they/if, will get a big points deduction, but not enough that will relegate them, just enough to put them somewhere by the bottom

Forest are miles better than last season, 16 points already so only five more wins off safety. They for once signed quality over quantity in key positions.

Fulham probably the same but again it would be a shock to see them seriously fighting relegation. Them and Brentford pick up wins against lower half teams on too much of a regular basis.

I think it might be the same as last season if Leicester lose at Ipswich, promoted clubs getting cast adrift and the established teams moving away from them as Leicester have a very tough run of fixtures over next 6 weeks so they'll lose most of them.

Ndiaye was the standout signing this summer and he has already made an impact in games where he's going to get a decent amount of ball.

I would agree though the squad hasn't been strengthen much elsewhere, still fudged the full back issue which will cost games as the season goes on. O'Brien not getting a kick so CBs same as last season. Signed a couple of CMs but due to Dyche wanting Doucs back in the team he's ahead of them currently in the pecking order.

This team isn't going to win games scoring 2-3 on a regular basis so need to keep clean sheets.
