Its that elusive striker we really need. Im sure if we can sell Yak we would have a bit more in the pot for Moyes to work his magic.

I don't think we'll do much business, but i'm not that bothered because when all our players are fit we are as good as anyone in the prem.

We arent going to get a 30 goal a season man. It would be hard to find one of them who plays for a team outside the Champions League that would cost us around £20M. We need to sign a striker who is around 10-15 at the age of 21-22 so that we can make him into that striker. I think if we get a RW in and keep Yakubu fit next season he could even get 25-30 goals over all. He did get 21 in a much weaker team who didnt play as well and create as many chances.

Its stupid us thinking that we can just go out and spend £30million on one player anyway. Its the short cut to disaster the Kopites have made (and think they're entitled to).

its not clever and its not using skill.

Its better to go out and get someone, and MAKE them a 20/30 goal a year striker.

Yes thats true. But players can underperform or make a surge in performance if given the right coaching and environment.

its what we've done with players we've bought cheaply. Its the better way.
