Its stupid us thinking that we can just go out and spend £30million on one player anyway. Its the short cut to disaster the Kopites have made (and think they're entitled to).

its not clever and its not using skill.

Its better to go out and get someone, and MAKE them a 20/30 goal a year striker.

Matt do you think that Beckford can become that 20/30 goals a year man?

I think he could be a 15 goals a year player. Moyes wouldn't be getting him otherwise.

If he really steps up (Jagielka style, from Shef Utd) - maybe 20 or 25 out of all expectation.

If he doesn't quite do it in first season, still think 10 is possible certainly.

And thats inbetween him playing Saha or the Yak and their goals.

Hope so...As you say Jags came good, and Tim came good, in Moyes we trust.
 

Its that elusive striker we really need. Im sure if we can sell Yak we would have a bit more in the pot for Moyes to work his magic.

Im hoping Messi wants a new challenge too. He could come on if Fellaini ever got injured.
