When my Dad was dying the only thing I could chat to him about was Everton.
It was the one thing above all others we had in common.
I wish Everton didn’t matter so much to me, but that’s where I am.

Thinking about it...not in a downer / morbid way...it seems like when you realise you've done your dash in a relationship and need a separation, or even a divorce.

Whilst it seems precarious now, there’s a month of transfer window to open so I’ll be more concerned if Everton are still doing this stuff in a month’s time. Maybe there’s a Kevin Campbell out there somewhere.
