I assume I must have misread the stat line but please tell me that the niners didn’t just win a title game throwing only 8 passes. What a joke.

well it'll be up to the chiefs to make him throw more in the superbowl, not sure they're up to it. coleman getting injured is a bonus for the chiefs though

All that has to happen for them to be forced to throw more is for Mahomes to give the Chiefs a double digit lead. Hardly an outlandish scenario.

Should be a classic SB. Can make a case for either team to take it. Niners seem the more complete team but that KC offense has been lighting it up

Can see this being like the Seahawks/Broncos Super Bowl. All the pundits backing the offensive side of the ball basically crowning the Chiefs without playing a down. Then the 49ers punching them square in the face from the kickoff and blowing them out.

I just remember the build up to that game being all about how Peyton Manning and his offensive exploits were unstoppable...and then they had to take a punch and couldn't handle it. It was men against boys that day.

Aye. If I remember correctly, it was immediately apparent that the Broncos weren’t going to be able to do anything against that Seahawks D. Niners just have that feel of a championship team to me.

People hated that game but to see just how good the Seahawks were that day was incredible.
