You’re right. It’s interesting—they’ve had some amazing players on both offense and defense (Doleman, Randle, etc.) but just haven’t put it all together. Had that big FG miss in 1998. And had a poor defense for some time. Despite some great years from Cunningham and Culpepper, they haven’t had an extended run of top-notch QB play. Maybe that’s been the difference?
