Do you mean like Alistair Campbell & Peter Mandelson did for Tony Blair?
The Sultans Of Spin.
Exactly mate. What's your point? Blair answered questions, his people trusted him in front of the media. This idiot Johnson is kept away from the public, only answering kids in schools, going on Facebook and making statements. He can't be exposed to scrutiny for fear of putting his foot in it.

Any comparison of Johnson to Blair is nonsense in terms of accountability. Cummins isn't even a member of the Tory party. So much for 'unelected bureacrats' in Brussels........

Absolutely.
Tony Blair is a war criminal.

Who did more for peace in Ireland than all his predecessors put together.

Honourable mention for Mo Mowlam for that, and it needs to be mentioned Blair cannot bring himself even mention her role... That's the measure of Blair.

She also did more than all her predecessors put together and then some.

The peace process was initiated at government level by John Major's party in 1993 (secret talks had been going on for years previously).

Also as the poster above alludes to Mo Mowlem was a major driving force behind it, then
removed when it looked like it could actually be successful. That's when Mandelson shoved his way
in to steal the glory along with the war criminal Tony Blair.
Tony Blair is a complete and total disgrace of a politician. A duplicitous, conniving, despicable human being who lined is own pockets through his position of PM. That is why he is persona non grata in the modern Labour party and always will be. He is a complete and total fraud.

John Major actually kicked it all off with the Downing Street Declaration in 1993. A great many politicians within NI and ROI also did all the spadework to eventually get to a position of peace. Blair didn’t even arrive until 1997, but if you wish to give him all the credit for the eventual GFA then so be it.......

It would not have happened without a Labour government and PM.

Just looking at that PMQs earlier. The Government benches looked forlorn. That's a broken party right there.

Never mind all those who will rebel from it later, I'd say there must be huge swathes who'll stay but who are holding their noses and who find their own front bench repugnant. I cant imagine that lot with the stomach to fight any election. They look like what they are: a house divided.

They're divided, Labour's divided, the Lib Dems are anti-Brexit but not popular enough to win a majority. I think the ultra right wing Tory party, as it will be, will win a moderate majority of about 30 seats. Then there will be a hard Brexit, then Scotland will leave the Union, and then we're all going to hell in a handcart frankly.
