Pete will be alonge shortly pissed and fuming for that alone I say thank you BJ you blert.

Probably waiting for the line to take, that one.

So far its neck and neck between deep state and "what sort of neighbour eavesdrops like that / are we in Corbyn's Soviet Britain yet?", though no doubt "look whats on the neighbours Twitter" will be along just as soon as they've finished trawling it.

Wonder if that's what Carrie Symonds told the Police after Gove was seen sneaking out of the back of the house after a night out with her and Boris.

....whilst the husband of Nazenin Zaghari-Ratcliffe goes on hunger strike outside the Iranian Embassy, this domestic incident is a further reflection of a man who’s not fit for office and who’s only interest in life is himself. He has the cheek to talk about the people of Liverpool.

The state of British politics!!!

That bloke is such a creepy little weirdo.
It's very odd, you hear anyone screaming in distress surely it's just a normal response to want to help in some way being left or right is no concern!? Maybe it's correct that if you are on the right of the political spectrum it's a case of turning the other cheek when it suits.

However, Johnson is always going to create headlines like this, he is a gift for oppositions!

That's extremely worrying

If they'd buried it totally I would agree with you, but I don't think that is what has happened.

The computer system the Met uses to despatch units to incidents (CAD) is nearly 35 years old, and lists incidents based on codes which represent what type of call it is and how urgent it is. An idea of how primitive it is can be gotten by looking at what the welcome screen looked like a year ago.

The code for a "concern for safety" (which is how the official statement refers to the call) is different to the two codes used to show that an incident is a domestic, so if the Guardian called up and asked if there had been a domestic at a specific location without giving the reference number and the press officers didn't know about it beforehand, then what they probably did is searched the system for domestic calls nearby there and they would have found none. When the Guardian called back with the reference number, they'd have seen that the call actually came in as a concern for safety and then they put the statement out saying what it says.

If you thought a woman was in genuine distress you would go around, knock on the door and see what was happening, not make a recording of it. From a security aspect and as the potential PM of the U.K. he needs to move out of this flat immediately, who knows what else is being recorded....
