Corbyn was a few thousand votes from winning in 2017 and that was with the largest smear campaign against any leader in British political history from the media and sabotage from within his own party by the Blairite traitors.

As for Starmer growing into the role, he's only started actually criticising Johnson since his own cabinet have been sharpening their knives.
I didn't actually mind a lot Corbyn stood for , voted for him.
But never thought he would win a GE.
It's no use looking outside of anybody that can't get a win.
You might be right on Starmer,
I wouldn't pick him to win either ,
But he seems to have started to have a bit of a voice in parliament.
Can't see him going anywhere so will have to get behind him.
Needs to step up and say what he stands for more and quickly

Richard Burgon.
Like the cut of him. Speaks well and comes across as someone you can relate to.
I know he isn't a northern lad but Les sweeting(is that the right spelling) has a bit about him.
To young for leader possibly?
I remember thinking, after seeing him briefly that Burgon was quite good. Having seen him more frequently in recent years, I've concluded he's actually pretty poor.

Russia was a documentable influence on the US elections in 2016 (and likely on Trump, though this is harder to document) and to a lesser extent in 2020, so it's not a long leap of logic to imagine the same in the UK, yes?
Fully expect revelations now on how close Boris and Brexit chums have been to Russian state money, Boris closeness was mentioned in liaison committee, other times this would have been headline news.

Blairite traitors? Catch yourself on man. I had this debate in real life in May at the local elections where are hard left "real socialist" candidate stood in a ward and took 150 votes. The difference between the winning Tory and the Labour candidate was 60 votes. And the muppet seemed pleased with himself.

This is where they all start cutting each others throats in some sort of 'battle royale' type death zone the difference being the only weapons they are armed with are the talons and bile they've worked so hard to backwards evolve to gain. Gove's laughing himself silly, being sacked in the final act of Caesars mania is the badge of honour that'll get him into the contendership - he's enough removed now from the stench of the previous crap thrower.
Lets see who Fuhrer Murdoch and ilk back to the hilt, and lets hope they've done their homework wrong and theres a load of skeletons to reveal.
The fiasco is beginning, buckle up and lets see which of the reptiles comes out covered in blood with a gullet full of skulls as supreme overlord.
