This is the sad truth. People will vote for whatever they’re told to by the rich.No they won't Joey, you can't underestimate how stupid the general public are.

Pond life.......selfish barsteward....
Yep. And there are 160000 members of the Conservative party about to foist Boris on us. After they have had their sherry, finished their tea, and settled down to watch Holby City.
Yep. And there are 160000 members of the Conservative party about to foist Boris on us. After they have had their sherry, finished their tea, and settled down to watch The Black & White Minstrel Show
And yet Boris actually reduced crime in London while his replacement has overseen an increase, funny how that works isn’t it......
Don’t forget the G&T.....
Boris is not everyone’s cup of tea obviously, but those that like him love him, and the membership love him......so let the fume commence, let the BBC do their worst.....I just hope he wakes up one day after a boozy night out and states “ I’m getting rid of the BBC license fee “....that’ll shake them up....
Indeed.
Assuming Boris wins, which seems nailed on, I actually think that with the right advice he may actually get this mess sorted. As best it can be sorted anyrate.
He will need to be basically a chairman. Appoint some skilled colleagues and let them try to sort sommet out. His rep on the global stage is pretty poor, others in his party less so. If he has the stones to accept that, keep the party faithful/media satisfied, you never know.
I think that is exactly how he will play it. He will be the public face, his cabinet will be the best he can call upon. He isa man for the time, deliver Brexit, set the country on a course and let the detail people deliver it.......
Lets hope so. This is beyond petty party squabbles now.
That said, have little faith that neither of the protagonists will resist their natural urges.
I still don’t see a solution to the Brexit conundrum without a general election.I think Boris will be best for the Brexit conundrum. I felt that back in 2016 before he got stabbed in the back by Gove......
