Urgh. Nadine Dorries is exactly the snivelling little brown nose I expected her to be.
Why should 'partygate' be put to one side? People have dying relatives in hospitals while these clowns (last Christmas) were on the ale and partying. This is an issue of trust, so this idiot (De Fiffel or something) should just leave it now. The worst PM in my time, for sure. Anyone who 'puts it to one side' is a complete idiot.Putting aside all of the nonsense over partygate, I think this is they key issue that will bring Boris down……
I dunno about that. But there might have to be some rebranding from Conservative Party to Conservative Movement or something.Putting aside all of the nonsense over partygate, I think this is they key issue that will bring Boris down……

Politician in - 'I'm mainly in it for the power trip' ShockerLaura K's retirement as BBC politico reminds me of an interview she did with Boris years ago when she literally laughed in his face at his pro-Brexit stance. He had previously professed EU support.
He couldn't care one way or the other about Brexit save for how it advantaged his own elevation to king of the world or whatever nonsense he aspired to.
Yup.Politician in - 'I'm mainly in it for the power trip' Shocker

The Tories said we could have our cake and eat it – now they are stuffed and voters are hungry | Rafael Behr
The PM’s vain hope that we can limit the spread of Covid without restrictions on freedom is yet another arrogant falsehood, says Guardian columnist Rafael Behrwww.theguardian.com
I think you're right here - the party will oust him rather than having to wait for a GE. It'll be a sheer power grab. I mean, they all are, ultimately. It will be interesting to see if Labour stay ahead in the polls, re: not too many disgruntled. It’s a strange thing though Edge. When Major and May went, most Tories (not just the MP’s) wanted them gone, to a man and woman in discussing this recently no one wants to see Boris removed. Brexit, Covid and the Economy and not some partygate nonsense are the key issues…Boris may well yet go, but not by the hand of the electorate….
