Boris making a wider play for the electorate by promising tax cuts to those in need.:oops:

Can all current Labour supporters now please agree that Corbyn was a mistake and they need to replace him with someone that appeals to the whole country, else just like America we'll end up with an idiot in charge.

The last two Prime Ministers have been idiots.

Hence the constitutional mess we find ourselves in :(

Keep Corbyn and get uber Tories then. Congratulations I'm sure that is what all the core Labour support wants.

Right, and the answer is to just pick someone from the long queue of candidates who are universally popular nationwide. Brilliant! Why hasn't anybody thought of that yet??

So.... who's it going to be then? Strawberries and cream? A re-run of The West Wing? Or is there a Hidden Miliband who's been biding his time all along?

- "Erm... what's his stance on Brexit then?"

- "I was so won over by his facts and logic that I hadn't even noticed!!"

It is always amusing how the more self-proclaimed 'centrists' are defeated across the globe, the more certain they become that what everybody really wants is precisely that which they keep voting against.

Yet it's the left that is meant to be hopelessly romantic and utopian

I'm not necessarily disagreeing with some of the points you made but my point remains the same because of Corbyn the Tories can take liberties safe in the knowledge they can get away with it.

Ps Ed Miliband would have beaten May at the last GE.

Just as a thought really, but America ignored Sanders and went with the centrist well known wide appeal option which resulted in the voter apathy that allowed Trump to win

She was a divisive figure also. It wasn't so much the fact that she was a 'centrist' why she lost. Trump was also boosted by the fact he was a celebrity in this day and age and was prepared to lie on a grandiose scale.
