Remember the glory days of Bully Boy Bercow. Who else remembers those days?

Tory Brexiteers screaming from the rooftops thumping keyboards on forums up and down the internet to all and sundry at how much of a disgrace he was.

Yet strangely I've not seen the same level thin lipped insincere outrage for Priti Patel....

I just can't for the life of me think why though. It's a real quandary?
lol

Thks for the link - I've wondered about this, was Cummings just a giant fraud all along?

Not in the sense of having technological / analytical insights himself, as that was never on the cards - but as a champion of data-driven reform what impact has he had? The civil service might be the monolith to end all monoliths, but it's also got more than its fair share of bright people who would 100% see the need for change and get behind someone with the clout to drive it. But he didn't seem capable of making it happen despite unprecedented influence and almost war-time levels of leeway for driving stuff through.
Did he have the Sir Humphries of the civil service on the run? I kind of doubt it, but he's such a polarising figure it's hard to get a clear picture of whether any of his ideas worked.

Former UKIP member, who would have thought it ?
