He just doesn't seem comfortable with all the media stuff and you have to have to do a certain amount of it like it or not. He would make a decent no.2 alongside someone else though imo.
Yeah it’s a tricky one, he’s obviously a very highly regarded coach but lacks experience of running a senior club day to day and like you say doesn’t seem to relish the media side.

Is there a world where we’d get him in as a number two (with “head coach” type responsibilities) with a senior figure to deal with other managerial responsibilities, with a view to Carsley taking over full responsibility? The obvious name being Moyes I guess.

I don't see the Moyes thing as the 2 of them have very clear contrasting styles of play, Moyes is all about safety and percentages and Carsley is much more attack minded/possession based. Also I know its the obvious suggestion (like you say) but I really wish we would move on from the Moyes thing, there are still fans who seemingly dismiss all other contenders apart from Moyes. Its going to be a new era for us in many aspects, no need to dig up the past imo.

Agree would like the next moyes a manager who wants to make a statement here and really build something. I am curuious to see what TFG do with the dof who will most likely decide what way we go. Sure thelwell had corberan from west brom on the list last time

De Zerbi?
Nah not for me, I live on the South Coast mate and there is no doubt he took Potters team up another level but by the end of the season he had rubbed a lot of people up the wrong way and had seemingly been heading for the exit door for a while from what a few Brighton supporters I know were saying.
