Do people have 2 options for a manager depending on the timing. For example, if Dyche was sacked today would you hire someone different to say potter who people may be more comfortable in the summer with a full Pre season etc. Or is your first choice your first choice regardless of now or the summer.

3rd, but also matters if you play fast and direct or just boot it upfield - we do the second almost exclusively.

Checking the last 5-6 years: the only time when a Dyche team isn't first by a mile is when he wasn't in the league
good description. His style is similiar to what we showed against Bmouth about 80min of the game. Also he likes pressing.

It‘s not a wannabe pep style manager, he knows what his team can and let them
play a certain way and able to compensate huge losses like Toney, Watkins or Benrahma over the years.

Surprisingly in direct duels, Dyche has his best 1v1 against him.

If you are bringing in Potter or someone like him that will completely revolusionise the way we play you need to give them the summer to work with the players.

If we thought that sacking Dyche was necessary to staying up then I suspect you would be more pragmatic about his replacement

One of his best but also only 5 games played - his head-to-head against Moyes, Warnock, Howe, NES are also good to be fair.

A lot of the others ones though are just sad to look at.

Everton are not bigger than Brentford.

Please stop with these delusional ideas of grandeur.

We are a bottom of the barrel, perennial relegation candidates.

Enjoy the match tomorrow.
Not now and based on the last years.

But if FGP gets it 80% right, we should be top half, conference or EL fighting like under Moyes.

Financially, we will have more posibilites than Fulham, Palace and so on. We should be fighting with Newcastle, West Ham, maybe when we overachieve even with Villa.

But it can take 5y or so.

So, you are telling me that I am correct.

Thank You.

People do realise that last season’s dreadful Everton side acquired more points than Brentford last season, right? And that was with a deduction of 8 points; we still finished ahead of them!

Brentford are garbage and so is Frank; I couldn’t think of a more uninspiring choice tbh.
I think he’s a decent enough manager but reading some reports and opinions of him I struggle to reconcile that with what I see and especially where he finished last year

you are for the current state, but if this state will be the truth in 2028 then fgp won‘t be remembered as a better owner

So the next manager of Everton must be convinced for a long term project and plan and in this case Everton will in theory have much more possibilites.
