As it turns out, Le Coq Sportif have the contract to make Everton shirt next year, and I for one am excited. Having designed our shirts from '83-'85, coinciding with our rise to 80's stardom, its funny they should be back to give us a new look.

They are responsible for a few other teams out there, and they design a realy good quality shirt. I was getting bored of the stagnant Umbro shirts, and am glad they've gone for something different, but not 'Pompey Canturbury' different.

We should just go with a classic one really...And we should have the Pink Kit as our 3rd kit too...with it still going to Charity (although a lesser amount)

I LIKE UMBRO!!! They kept it simple.

We're gonna have ******* stripes and bollocky lines on every jersey....La Coque Sportif make the kits look like pyjarmas!!!!

They designed one Kit about 4 years ago, and changed the colours...with some slight sweat patch thingys added on every year. Its embarrassing that half the teams have exactly the same kit.

Its simple. You cant really change and design a blue shirt - Chelseas and the shites rarely change either.

I'm telling you --- we're gonna have ******* zig-zag lines and stripes (in a lighter tone of blue) next season.

What they should do is revert our kit back to blue simplicity. If you notice all the shirts they designed for this season are different, from the collars to the trim. The basic three panel sleeves/front and back are standard fare nowadays, but they have given each shirt something unique, rather than the factory Umbro look.

Just give me something streamlined like this -

But in Royal Blue and a smaller Chang sponser logo.

That will do me. Not something that will make me eyes go funny when I'm watching us play on tele
