Never got the attraction of KISS, even when I was in the band’s target range (around 6 years old).
Disappeared up themselves on the altar of merchandising and ruined music forever. Laughingly thought their music was strong enough to keep their fans when they stopped dressing up. Made million for merchandisers everywhere. Ace seemed sensitive enough to be conscious about what they were doing. I just hope whatever money was left for him was enough to blot out what they had done.

A shame it wasn’t Gene that died, he’s just utterly odious and hates the fans that gave him his lifestyle.

I wouldn't class their music as edgy, do they qualify as glam rock? I've probably got it all wrong but I'm quite glad I missed out. A shambling, white, hetero, music makers for people that like to like music. So coldplay with more chrome and tassels. Probably the nicest thing I can say about them is the lyric...

Who likes all our pretty songs
And he likes to sing along
And he likes to shoot his gun
But he knows not what it means"

always secretly reminded me of their butt-rock fans. tbf I dislike tommy lee and his abomination of a band motley crue even worse. douche rock.
