I’ve been following this on X , tragic that a young lad should lose his life playing the sport he loved. You would hope the authorities look into the circumstances and the “construction” of the ground.

Its not the first time this issue has copped up especially down the lower/non leagues, ground construction (as you say) needs to have better regulations, there should never be solid structures so close to the pitch where they can potentially cause incidents such as this.
