Original Squeeze drummer and more recently Jools Holland’s drummer, Gilson Lavis has died aged 74.
Sad news I've always been a big Squeeze fan and because of that then always watched ' later with Jools Holland' and Gilson was still playing up until fairly recently.
Played drums effortlessly and made it look easy.

Saw Jools Holland a few times and Gilson Lavis was a great drummer. Last time I saw Jools Holland, he had a new drummer and made a reference to Lavis being unwell. RIP.
