It's a technical problem, at least insofar as the implementation goes, which is why you've been catching my flak on this one.

I don't have a problem with his right to censorship. His private club, his rules. I understand the reasons why, which are not purely aesthetic. All well and good.

However, the unintended consequences of the implementation are IMO both funny and bad for discipline and order. This is why I raise the issue. The language filter being overzealous at times creates desire to evade it, which makes your job harder.
