I mean I agree with the sentiment, this is all very unsavoury and not in keeping with the honourable gladiatorial clashes we have become accustomed to.
Unfortunately an amnesty goes against the code of the New Arena where it is law to fight to the death or until one combatant is sleepy or bored or hungry.

I know the lad mentioned your wife’s condition and he was out of order for that, FWIW, but you’ve barely even acknowledged your wrongdoing, and spare me the disingenuous “I’m sorry if you were offended” DM apology; I credit you with enough intelligence to know that doesn’t cut it.
I don’t expect you to go back on yourself now, nor particularly care that you’ve let down a random fella on a footy forum, but it’s honestly poor, poor form.
