There seems to be a confidence we'll spend but I'm not so sure , then again I supposed I'm just used to everton. I think the fact we met Rodallega would point to a Striker maybe being on his wishlist ? I think if we don't lose anyone it'll be the usual loan or maybe a free player in, as above I think most of the Money as probably already been spent.

Edit- Randomly just got a text from my mate saying we are looking for a striker , no details at the min hopefully get a bit more next few days

great stuff, donovan would be perfect to cover this and RM position but i bet that'll be done in jan.thanks for the update as usual sheeds

I do hope if we sign Donovan that he will be considered to be a signing for his main and best position, striker (or second striker if you like). He would link up with Jelavic very well IMO.

I wouldnt mind him going RM whilst he has pace.

Hmmm in gonna hazard a guess that said striker is Jordan Rhodes.

Just a guess though.

I'd love to see Rhodes given a chance but I'm going to plump for Paul Taylor of Peterbro

a bird on twitter said he'd told her he was coming a few weeks ago and then i say this story yesterday

Have Everton made a cheeky bid for Paul Taylor?

Tazor, to his mates, has been transfer-listed by Peterborough's manager Darren Ferguson after he rejected a four year deal.

David Moyes has had the striker watched a few times and he would be considered a gamble if Everton land the striker.

Paul was a former Everton youth player and has had stints in Belgian football before settling down with the Posh.

Ferguson said: "We've had a bid for Paul but nowhere near what we require. It's not near our valuation so we'll wait and see what happens."

Moyes loves a lower league striker..

please no. i've seen him quite a few times, he's a hard worker but nowhere near prem league class, especially not our level

The Heitinga "stories" have done my head in. He clearly wasn't offered to Fenebache and he clearly doesn't want to leave. Bad, bad journalism, as per.
