Still very early days in the season. We're four points from Top 5 and 6 above the relegation zone. A win today and we're back in the Top 10 hopefully, up the Toffees

Wolves in the cup was an abomination and completely disrespectful to the away fans, the way he made the changes.

Appreciate the sentiment, but just do not agree.

Wolves away was our most complete performance. Rode our luck against Brighton, struggled against a poor Villa, couldnt beat a dire West Ham.

Appreciate last season, but i just feel the Wolves-West Ham salvo completely sapped the feel gpod put of the club.

Howe, Emery have proven ypu can skip stablising and go straight to the elite.
The way he threw the cup game against Wolves still grrrr-inds my gears

If he’s keeping us chugging along in the mid-table then he’ll do for now as I think that’s probably our current ceiling with this squad

However, at a certain point we need to actually kick on. If he’s not capable of doing that then I think it’s time to wish him well and get someone who can

I’ll take stability in the short term, but long term we need to aspire for more

I keep saying it: the length of his contract was not officially announced by the club. This is significant. If it was 18 months and publicly announced, the players would know he was gone in the summer barring an extension. His authority would drain. But it was never revealed. The media ran with 2.5 years...but it was never officially communicated on the club's official channels even though contract durations for previous managers were.

I am sure he'll be gone by the summer. The problem now, however, is Moyes might have been hoping to extend. What will his motivation be as he sees it slipping away? I genuinely think he needs a win or two quickly or he could be gone before Christmas. I just don't see a future with him.

If David Moyes leaves Lime Street at 9:14am travelling 45 miles an hour and another David Moyes leaves London Euston at 11:56am travelling 125mph, what time will they collide?
Crewe station at 12:57 and 36 seconds pm. That's with a 30mph headwind tho. Just worked it out on computer. Have you got another? 😄

Problem is that there are no many good options available right now, maybe not even one...I would love somebody like iraola, but never in a millions year we would get him. This recruitment team keep telling us we are not attractive...so no chance of attracting a better manager than moyes, at least not with the clowns we have at the top. Sometimes I wonder where is the ambition with this football club.

Any club that could attract Carlo Ancelotti near its lowest ebb has options.

What we need is ambition and imagination. Let's see what these Friedkins have. The signs, to date, are not promising.
