The Match

Great to see how many fans make the effort to travel long distances to see the Blues!
Personally, the biggest regret I've had as an Evertonian is missing the 1986 FA Cup final (having been there in 66, 68 and 84) as I didn't have a season ticket that year. Had a season ticket every year since then - in the Park End since it was redeveloped (1994?).
Don't get to many aways due to being an old git now, but still stagger to three or four a season..

I had a season ticket but got rid last year because of other things taking up weekends/money.

Still go a lot of the home games and some aways.

I go when Everton give tickets free or for £15 / £20 to my company (4-7 homes games a year) and the derby.
.
I go to 12-15 aways, 50% of those will be in the home end.

cannot do home ends at all. Did it on y tod for spurs when we won 2-0 and kilbane got sent off back in 06 i think it was. Worst experience ever... apart from the result of course.

Spot on. I'd probably cry if we won something again after everything they've put me through.
I know I would. I was in tears after we beat United on pens.

And the electrifying experience that was Goodison after Mikel Arteta's goal against Fiorentina is an experience I will never forget. My two closest brushes with glory (given the abject performances in the Chelsea final and Liverpool semi, I won't count them).

Only managed a few games a season over the last few years due to shift work. Decided to bite the bullet this year and me and the missus bought season tickets. Only missed 3 games and Stubhub has helped to shift the tickets. proper hooked again, as I fell out of love with the game for a few years. Not managed any away games but want to try and do a couple if we can.

I done it away to Leicester good few yrs ago now, 0-0 draw but Alexanderson nearly scored a winner and we'd a bet on him and 1-0. Nearly got lynched!

Living in Norway, i've only seen EFC play twice: The game in Bergen against Brann in the UEFA in feb 2008, and then just recently i flew over and visited Goodison for the first time for the 2-2 Derby in October. Proper fun times. Would buy again A+.

Why waste money and be cold when you can spend the money you would spend on going to the match on Sky Sports and beer?

Just kidding, I usually go to between 3-5 games a season but dunno if I'll be at one match this season.
