I did wonder at the time. Oh, 1 0 City.
Harlequins lost out on a play off place by a 2 points. Chose to kick from just over halfway about 20 metres from centre. Daft that they could of put it in the corner and played the phases. Would put good money on a Sarries win for the final.

A few people round here have been sent flyers from the Brexit party. The problem is that these are addressed to people of the house, so they are actually in violation of GDPR by contacting people without their permission.
They all get access to the electoral roll don't they-unless one opts out, then it's a data breach?

Be a lot easier to just pay the Royal Mail to lob one in every letter box. Unless they have info that suggests who might be more likely to be convinced.......

They will do, their apparatus won't be too far from SCL/new CA

I havnt a clue what that is. How can anyone know who you voted for unless they are told by the voter?
CA = Cambridge Analytica

I don't suppose they know that, they'll just have their targets according to other stat's for sectors they want to swing strategically.

Honestly never been sent one, hence why it’s so weird. Again though, never signed anything permitting my data being shared from the electoral roll.

Technically, as a marketer, I could get the addresses of key decision makers in businesses and send them direct mail very easily. Under GDPR I can’t. It’s very odd they can.

One opts out, not in, that's the default(and it wasn't made easy in the legislation(fouror so years ago iirc) ) , and every party that registers can access the register.

Negatory! Now with GDPR one must opt in (hence why 12 months ago you got a slew of emails asking you to do just that) before receiving marketing. If the electoral commission have released my details to third party companies without my consent then they are in violation of GDPR and I’ll be phoning them on Monday to ask why.

And - as pointed out a few posts above - the Brexit party is a ltd company. Whole heap of doo doo there

Good point re them being company...

Everyone calm down it's 30 years now, Rees Mogg declared some time back it could take 50 years of being worse off to see any benefit in leaving the EU, Brexit candidate now suggests it's only going to be 30 years.
