The Magnificant 7th!

30 points to play for 7 behind and we have made that up in the last month its not beyond us especially with games against Brum, Villa and City and many of our rivals having to play to 4 sides and each other in the run in.

If we beat Brum we have a slim chance but a chance. If we lose then 8th-9th place it is. A draw won't do any good either.

I don't think 20 points would do it because I don't see a team from 5-8th colapsing at the end of the season unless McLeish decides to play alot of reserves in the final few matches to stay out of Europe.

Maybe City could go in a deep slump with losses and draws however they have a nice cushion to work with. Mancini's style seems to bore the players and I could see them tuning out.

For as bad as the RS are, Torres isn't going to misfire on 4-5 good chances to score like he did at Wigan. Sadly I still see them finishing 4th with Masherano breaking no more than 5 ankles.

We didn't do ourselves a any favors losing to Spurs. Also Villa and Spurs have bounced back very well after loss and have avoided a slump all year.
