What people do with their money is their own business.

What I do find interesting is that these suddenly popped up with podcast a few years ago that included Michael Ball and Kevin Ratcliffe (how did they get those two on board) with no Patreon/paywall content . Once they established a listenership and following they soon changed tact.

I don’t listen/watch for a long time so I’m not sure if Kev or Michael are still involved.

My only issue with these kind of things and it’s not just them it’s millions, it’s that once they gain decent traction they suddenly can’t do the content without some sort of funding and it sets a precedent that will go on and on where it will get to a point even a basic social media post or clip requires a subscription.

Who would thought all those years ago YouTube would charge £17 a month to listen or view without a single advertisement.

The Blue Room got some stick a few years ago for going to a paywall, one of them stating it was “to buy equipment “
To be honest I have little time for these fan channels now. What's the point in them? Clubs got control of them and diluted their content, which is why AFTVs views hugely dropped. They're supposed to be separate from club, but they rely on help from club to get interviews.
