There's some cracking Gurkha restaurants in Aldershot and a decent Jack the Rippers that was pretty cheap and had negotiable "extras", a nightclub that consisted entirely of plywood and linoleum, and a police force that seemed happy to use broken ribs and concussion as an acceptable restraint tactic.

If anything, the place went downhill, AFTER the Paras left town.

It was always going to be tough going to Stamford Bridge against one of the best defences in the league without a decent striker. Never mind. I've kind of written the league season off now expectations wise and I'm just going to enjoy each game as it comes. Hopefully we can give Arsenal a good game in the FA Cup and take it from there. We'll be stronger next season though, I'm sure of it.

It's my first night out since NYE tomorrow night and I am determined to smash something to make up for it.

Somebody just made a post to inform people that a black and white cat wearing a red collar has been run over and killed by a transit van just up the road from my house....
