I wouldn't fancy that, thing is though the one she wants to go to and I've got an offer for is only an hour away on a £10 train. So it's not like she'd be in Aberdeen or something.

Aye, it's a question of knowing people upon graduating half the time, though. Reckon I could probably do alright.

It is, that's what I really want to do. Just a case of standing my ground now and not listening to people who tell me to do sports science because it involves more.

From what you can gather from people off a forum I think you'll be fine whatever you do, you seem that type of person.

Isn't there a way to combine the two. They go together.

Probably do no harm then in that case. Go for the one with the best reputation for the course you want.

The difference to getting, or not getting, an opportunity could come down to that at some point in the future.

As horrible it is to say, relationships at this age aren't that likely to stand the test of time. Plan what is best for you and see if you can work around it. If things go tits up then you'll be in a better position for yourself.
