Oh certainly. But I sincerely doubt that was the person's true intention.

But you're asking as to why people don't keep selfless acts private, well that's because it's good for that stuff to be publisied. One of the things people always have a go at the press for is for printing all the crime figures and the bad things but not the good things. You make a big deal out of charitable acts and it encourages other people to do the same, if they're doing it just to get their ego stroked who cares, that homeless bloke still gets a free meal?

I dunno, it just seems like people use any excuse to discredit people who try and help as oppossed to just sitting on their arses like I do.

Facebook also makes me fume.

'Like this if you hate Cancer' NOPE.

You sick [Poor language removed] Azz.

Ah right.

Send her a message saying you hope she gets fire aids.

I just tried to find the post then but gave up after 5 minutes. I can't remember who it was or who they're even mates with ffs.

I jibbed off FB ever since the mrs read my inboxes and went mental at me. Dont miss it.

I've deactivated mine a good few times but never for that long. It benefits me slightly in uni but not much. I prefer to phone or text people rather than publicly talking to your friends.

Fair points. (FFS)

I suppose there can be a fine line between raising a bit of awareness and doing it for selfish purposes. I would be more inclined to agree with you if she hadn't filmed it and then uploaded the video to Facebook. I'm sure that they had kind intentions but it just smacked of "look at me" at the time.

Videos like that are made to get likes and make people 'Facebook famous'.

Sure, the homeless man got food which is a positive outcome so it's still a good thing, just done for the wrong reasons.

Social network whores.

I miss the days of MSN Messenger. It was much more simple.

Has anybody heard about that 15 year old girl sucking her own used tampon dry? For "likes" and "shares"? Some little fat bitch with big tits suddenly thinks she's some kind of celebrity. I stumbled across it the other day and nearly vomited.

Twitter is full of attention seekers as well. Look at this account called 'things on my nan'
