Being in a job where you sit around doing nothing would drive me absolutely nuts

What I think is boring, some may think is interesting. I have done interesting jobs...
I hate going to work, and I do feel guilty as I know some lids want to. Dosent stop me waking in the morning and thinking 'FFS !!'

Don't you get bored in your job?

No mate.

To be fair I do an awesome job with lots of responsibility. If I balls something up I get in deep trouble.

Sometimes my workload isn't much so I enjoy those times as it won't be too long until I'm off my feet all day.

Saying that, a job is just that to me. A job. Nothing more. I live for my life outside work.

I've never understood this.

Like people who want challenging jobs. No I want a job I can do so easily and well that I can devote as little effort and brainpower to it as possible without getting sacked.

I've done jobs where I've come home knackered and drained because it's required everything I've got and frankly it's crap, there's much better things I'd rather put my energy towards.

I'm staying in my current job until I'm so familiar with it that I can do everything I need to while eating a sandwhich and humming every song on the white album backwards.

Have you tried looking for a more interesting job?

No mate.

I see. Personally I prefer to be busy all the time than have little to do, I can't sit down doing nothing because I feel like I'm wasting time.

That's an interesting way of looking at it, I think it's got to be something more, it's something you do day in day out so you do end up doing alot of living during work!

To be fair mate when I was your age I think I thought the same.

You might change when you get into the real world.

I think there's a balance between work and socialising that you've got to get right.

Personally I'd want a pretty challenging job, so that I'm busy

I don't. Honestly challenging means it's hard so you might mistakes that cost you your job and it means you don't have time to piss about on the internet.

Any job that requires more than 50% of your brainpower should be avoided, imo.
