It was a fella called Tommy Cullinan. Of the winner (Tipperary Tim) the story goes like this; "Before the race, Tipperary Tim's amateur jockey, William Dutton, heard a friend call out to him: "Billy boy, you'll only win if all the others fall!" These words turned out to be true, as all of the 41 other starters fell during the race. The runner up actually led at one point but fell, remounted and finished".

But if you could tell me why, when walking past a chippy, its smells of dead nice chips, BUT, when your standing inside.. you cant smell anything ? Id appreciate it.
