I know my kids pin numbers incase they forget. What I do get confused with are the numerous passwords I have for assorted online accounts ( bank , Amazon , Play.com etc ) which are ALL different

When me and my ex moved into the address I still live in, I told the bank the new address. Our joint account bank cards were up for replacement . Mine got sent to the new house, whereas my then wife's got sent to the old address. No chip-and-pin, then. The girl who moved into the old house, and got the new card, just signed the back of it as my wife's name and used the card to buy some stuff. As long as the signature on the receipt matched the one she had put on the back of the card , she was ok. What gave her away was us getting a call from a catalogue WE didn't use, telling us our new bedroom furniture was coming next week. Some letter must have gone there with our phone number one ( which we had kept ). Anyway, it all got sorted and the bank repaid ( after some arguing on the phone by me ) all the money she had spent.
