Lawless is about three brothers who run moonshine in Virginia during prohibition. When all the other bootleggers give in to pay protection from the local authorities and a crooked deputy, they hold out. Violence ensues. A metric crap ton of it. This period of time is very interesting to me as my family ran shine in the mountains of Northeast Georgia during prohibition. For me, I give it 4 out of 5 stars. If you aren't interested in that period of time, I would say 3 out of 5.

The wife went nuts on buying DVDs tonight - The Mother (Daniel Craig), Michael McIntyre (can't stand him)' and Men in Black 3 (decent, I thought).

Men in Black 3 was way better than part 2.

I find Josh Brolin to be an excellent actor. No Country For Old Men was excellent, as were American Gangster and Milk etc. Even W was enjoyable.

The language my three are subjected to is pretty brutal, especially when the footy is on. I feel sorry for their teachers like.

I try not to swear in front of the wee 'un, but hey, sometimes............

Football brings out my full array of swear words, but I try and avoid it with the kids about. However my 3 year old uttered the words 'daddy you're a knobhead' during the reading game, not my proudest moment
