Although not as grim as child wanting to eat food from an art project, the welfare reforms with people who are sick is just ridiculaus and people will take their lives or of others because of them. DWP or outsourced companies are laterally cold calling people with very severe mental health problems and reviewing them.

Assessor "How are you".

Person " im great not sure why im here i can work nothing wrong with me".

Cut a log true story short they have PIP removed despite the CMHT team interventions person decide to stop depot injection to manage their psychosis . 4 years on they are still in and out of hospital with psychotic episodes at a cost of 10s of thousand if not more all to save a couple hundred quid a month.

Pretty much concluded the amount of posts put up by our self confessed principle left here they are not factually at the coal face of work and public services and just romancing in their comfortable retirement.

Literally a civil servant who skinted himself for half a year going on unpaid strike.

Also worked in the DWP, been a claimant, and have a disabled sister who needs me to to communicate with them anytime she has a problem.

So, yeah, talking out your arse as usual.

/walks away whistling.

Went from this post back to page 1282 and not read anything in-between apart from a post off Bruce can just imagine the utter guff written by those who at any other given time accuse Boris supporters or Brexiters for falling for the headline, as here Starmer was not praising Thatcher's policies, something that would be understood if people were to read past the questionable media headline.

You've nailed it.

I like giving Davek gyp in here (he's a wonder to behold when in full flow), but he's right in that the Greens offer a voice that the Labour party currently don't. What puts a lot off vitong for them is the sense it is a 'wasted' vote in many seats. So we see tactical voting to oust the Tories.

Mind you, the current system arguably helped keep dangers like Farage and UKIP in check. Silver lining etc.

Which is why we'll never see a move away from the current voting system. The powers that be / status quo are too afraid to give the silent majority the power/ a voice.

I’m not convincing anybody to do anything.

If people are voting Labour that’s fine.

I’m just voicing my dissatisfaction at what the Labour Party has become under Starmer.

It would be better for people like you to listen and try to understand why we’re moving away from the party.

I’m not a supporter of Labour anymore but I’am a supporter of the Labour movement which is why I’ve fought the tories all my life and worked with my union to strike for a better pay deal and fight against job loses and won.

So, please, stop the tory shouts, and try to understand why people are moving away from the party.

Well, if you get another term of tory brutality or even a coalition with Reform I hope that your principles do not keep you awake at night.

I was against Brexit as even though I believe that the EU needs change it is best achieved from within.

We need to start a combined spiritualism and green politics focused party. That'd get the masses onside.

Combine Marxism and Jung, the manifesto of the gods comrade.

It’s the British people that don’t want it. They had the chance to adopt it in a 2011 referendum but they chose to vote against

Which is the lesser of two evils Billy - suppression at the ballot box to prevent far left/right elements from gaining power or the preservation of a corrupt status quo that do not serve its people ?

Well put. Agree with her. People need to see the bigger picture here or we will get 5 more years of this lot.

Well that says it all really doesn't it...that teacher is talking about austerity and how it affects kids she teaches, and she says that "please God, once in power we can try and persuade Starmer to spend more"....but he's just told her and every one else today that there will be NO such spending. That the cupboard is bare and that he won't borrow to spend and that spending will only come when productivity grows.

When are people going to wake up and start listening and reading to what this party is offering rather than what they think they'll get with a real Labour Party?

I may move away from the Labour party myself, but only when there is an actual alternative. I dont like Starmer, I think the party has been hijacked and is Tory light.

However, a move away from Labour now is a great way for the Tories to get another term.

This is it and will be the thrust from the Shadow Tories to do their utmost to split Labour.

<see post above>

An utter 'kin chancer.

Two years in power I'll give this fraud before he's chased....but only to be placed by Wes Streeting, and even bigger Tory spanner.
Streeting grew up in poverty living in a council flat. He recalls Conservative Party politicians in the 1990s "denigrating single-parent families like mine, which I took quite personally.

No hes not.

Stop lying.
