Turnout was very low and UKIP vote share was up by +6.
UKIP threw everything at it too with zombie Neil Hamilton running whos their biggest name outside of Farage, wouldnt read much into it

The turnout is madly reduced in bi elections though mate (though the majority is down a couple of % in % terms).
That's quite a good hold for Labour really. 1) the local MP was very popular so that would have had a hit, 2) The local weather was awful, which depresses turnout (particularly amongst Labour voters). 3) It's in a traditional more Brexit type area for Labour where they will be susceptible. A 1% swing (or so) to the Tories with them losing a lot of votes themselves (actually a higher % proportion than Labour) is pretty good news for Labour.
Lets put it this way, if in the seats in Leave areas you offered me a swing of around 1% to the tories I'd bite your hand off. Very quickly they will lose a lot of that leave vote to others to their right anyway and be in net deficit. In remain areas the Tories will be obliterated.
What we can also say from this, any nonsense which has been peddled by (in fairness mainly 1) polling company that the tories are 10 points ahead has been completely shown up once again. A government who is 10 points ahead do not fail to overturn relatively close bi-elections like yesterday.

Most the lads i knocked round with who joined the forces became violence advocating right wing bigots, some stayed clean of the brainwashing but most didnt, their behaviour should be no surprise despite how much we are indoctrinated to worship them without question
