The Tories would have given more tax breaks for the rich and cut more services to pay for it.
Starmer’s gang are a million miles away from a ‘socialist’ party, but they’re also a million miles away from the right wing party that we’ve seen for the last decade, and that we’ll see when we get a Tory/reform coalition in 4 years time.
At that point, you’ll have a lot more to moan about than someone getting a pair of glasses paid for by a donor.

It’s because of the faction he was associated with. Similar attitudes (to Dianne Abbott at least) held by senior figures were exposed when the Labour HQ WhatsApp group was leaked a few years ago, but because that was also aimed at Corbs no one in the media was arsed.
There's a load in the group including another mp. Quite amazing timing this. raunchy sexist joke about Rayner, another mp with a to jewish name and being a possible mossad agent. Who's grassed who here.

Wait'll you see what happens next month when they announce that they're throwing 100,000 claimants of UC health benefits and PIP back into the world of job seeking and stopping their extra benefits they're entitled to. They are an evil shower of turds just like the other Tories.
BTW if this was a real LP they'd have got their hands on the levers of taxation and really pulled down hard on them. That's called wealth redistribution and it's been a feature of Labour Governments.

- stood aside when the Gazans were faced with genocide - actually their leader backed the Israelis in their genocide.
- took £300 off pensioners for winter fuel bills
- reneged on their promised support for WASPI women and their cause for a just outcome to their pension settlement
- refused to scrap the two child family tax limit which keeps millions of low income families in poverty
- will put 100,000 physically and mentally incapable for work individuals back in the jobseeker category and take thousands of pounds off them per year by doing so
