It's coming along nicely. Transform it's called. And Starmer's dictatorial leadership has just held out the prospect of a new party with 7 seats in parliamant.

I think that's how it'll manifest itself in the end.

The Labour Party was born out of the Liberal Party and so too will 'Labour's' gravedigger come from within.
Great stuff.

I look forward to checking them out in 4 years.

I doubt Transform will be the party name by the time Corbyn joins. The name might end up being Collective which was the organisation that backed left independents including Corbyn during the election. Got to remember that the moment that he or the independents join a party, there will be instant calls for by-elections from the rest of parliament as there were when Chuka Umunna and his little gang left. As it stands I think this grouping of pro-Palestine Socialist independents is working pretty well.

I think you will find I am free to vote for whoever I want.

Last local elections I really liked The Greens, so I'm hoping they become more electable, if Starmers gang screw it up.

But for now, not the Tories will have to do.
Own it.

TBF developing a party structure - whatever its called - will kill that movement off. Common platforms and discipline is what has led us to this sorry mess.

The only way it works is by educating and empowering people in constituencies to respond to their own needs and demands, whether their beliefs are of left or right. What Corbyn and the rest revealed is how our political system is designed to work, and how alien the party systems are to it.

That's right.

There'll be a coalescing of organisations that spring up organically and apart from each other.

I stand to be corrected, but the MPs already in parliament can do what they want: they're elected to represent constituents and can either sit as an Independent or part of a new group, like Change UK did.

They can do what they want in parliament you're right, but if we're talking about Corbyn and McDonnell they'd have to be careful not to be accused of hypocrisy in joining a party after calling for by-elections when the Change UK group was formed. There are differences though, the Change UK MPs left voluntarily and abdicated the Socialist platform Labour stood on in 2017.

If any party does form properly I think it will take a few years as you say. They'll need to accommodate some sort of working relationship with the Greens as well, the Socialist part of them that is. 4 Greens + 5 pro-Palestine/Socialist independents + 7 suspended Socialist Labour MPs. That's a solid shift leftward.

It's true that the SDP/Lib Alliance took a big hit after they merged. But that was a top-down capitalist party initiated by people of the parliamentary class rather than working class campaigners.

If we're talking about a Socialist party then it will form out of working class campaigns across the country. Like the Liverpool Against the Arms Fair Campaign a few years ago, the pro-Palestine campaigners, community campaigners etc. I think when it does form it'll be fundamentally different to any party structure there is already.

The Starmer Gang's GB Energy is going into partnership with Crown Estates, so wind power projects can be rolled out into sea bed they 'own'. The Royal Family 'own' almost all land up to 12 miles off the coast of Britain and therefore will have a monopoly on land provision for wind renewable energy.

They'll get profits from all the wind power projects.

It's a good job we got the Tories out isn't it?
You are right but also missing the point that this is a good project. It is not one that should benefit one family more than any other though.
