I have no delusions, my eyes are wide open.

The Labour Partys leader is not a very nice man, The Tory Partys leader is not a very nice man.

This is not a very nice World.

Me voting Labour will not change the world, the UK or Everton.

But you know what, at least it wont be those horrid Tories.

I will sleep like a baby.
I don't mean to harp on about it at you, but I just get really frustrated when I see this mentality and then people wonder why nothing ever changes. It's like having the Nazis and the Khmer Rouge on the ballot and picking the latter cos they've murdered a few million less.

Like you say, you voting Labour will not change anything, so that's why it seems so weird to vote for something you don't believe in.

If you reply to this with a picture of Suella Braverman again, I'm reporting you.

To paraphrase Jordan, even racists have votes. You can only hope that Labour change when they're actually in office and don't need to appeal to deplorable types.

What are you meant to do then?

A vote for anyone else is a wasted vote.

Id rather Labour had a go than have another 5 years under the Tories..

Reductio ad Hitlerum...

You can hope – and maybe that will turn out to be the case and Starmer is at the head of the biggest Trojan horse ever – but what does that say about the state of our democracy? How would you feel if Remain had won only for us to go ahead and leave the EU anyway?

I prefer to know what I'm getting from the people I vote for. I don't expect them to be popular or get things right always, but at the very least they should be honest about what they stand for.

I'm not trying to have a go at people voting Labour still, I understand how marginal some seats are and the fear of letting those crooks in is very real, it's just at some point something has gotta give.

We have to remember that Johnson won a landslide at the last election. God only knows how, but if Labour are to win they need to convince some of those people. That is the nature of democracy. Very few will ever get a government they totally like, and by and large, few governments ever do anything but fiddle around the edges.

Syriza did well in Greece, huh?

Yes to be honest, things can get a helluva lot worse than what they are now and they will if the Tories remain in power. @Milkman can report me too, I'm voting Labour.

@davek you haven’t posted in here today.

Sir Kier is starting to feel a bit lonely and neglected
Do you know Israel has its own missile defense system? Well, Dave is out there providing his own, Batfink style. It's a tough job, but someone has to do it. Hopefully the conflict will be over soon so he can return to his true passion of saving the planet.
