Is the Labour Party ready for an election if one comes?
I’m not sure, still seems discord on the front bench, they need to really step up the critique of Boris and the Tories but also look like Starmer and Rayner would actually share a taxi if they had to!

think they are struggling for money at the moment if an election came about.
It will be more about how badly the Tories implode that will define if they can win an election.
Starmer for me would be a decent second in command , but doesn't really connect with people Up north , yet another London centic leader like the last two and it just will not play with the wider UK voters.
He will have more chance than the last two , who were loser's from day one , for anybody outside the party.
I feel we should
have definitely gone for a northern , scot , Welsh , leader as the current one is as alien to most as the average Tory.
The labour party as a whole needs to sharpen up and have only one aim get rid of the Tories.
Likes of Thornberry, lammy ect are not the answer to winning an election.

I think the thing with the Labour party is, it just simply can't get its leader right.
They are so scared of picking another Blair they go for robots instead
They have 2 people who would possibly rip the Tories apart. But they are not even in the commons. One is sitting on a cushy job cause his wet lettuce brother beat him to the leadership and the other is sat concerning himself with Manchester bus routes and planning applocations.

Get either of Miliband or Burnham on the other side of the dispatch box and we could see a more electable Labour party.

I like Nandy as well think she could do well.

Both are like Lucas was to the RS, Miliband especially so. People whose absence removes all memory of how they weren’t actually any good.

Miliband is a man who, let’s not forget, helped turn Sland into the force they are in Division One nowadays. He’s the man who chickened out of removing Brown, the man who is pretty much the poster boy for the out of touch Labour policy wonk given a safe seat that he goes on to do fk all for.

His sole achievement over the past decade or so is to become the highest paid charity boss in the world, which as achievements go must be like being the biggest drunk amongst all the school bus drivers.

Burnham I’ve got slightly more time for but even he messed up the two great opportunities in his political life; first the absolute failure of his leadership bid and second running off from a position of great strength so he could become mayor of Manchester and get lied to by central government every day.
