Time will tell if Caroll and Suarez prove to be good business or not, but it does seem massively over the odds for a player who is certainly not even close to world class.

Pub talk with kopites is impossible. 99% of them can't have a rationale conversation about football. Bottom line is they have been rejected by their world class striker and have paniced to placate their fans.

It is depressing that our transfer thread is being dominated by talk of their transfer activity in the abcense of any inwards from us. Sad times.
