I remember David nugget scoring 2 similar goals... Just saying.

Fair comment. All I know is that you can't teach that sort of speed and close control whilst on the ball - Nugent never had that pace and control, but he did have a goalscoring touch and a bit of flair when he was confident and playing at a lower level.

This Jennings kid has all the raw tools to work with in my opinion.

Anybody but them :@

I wonder if the hype about Charlie is fully justified. I agree he looks a good player who can pick a pass, but I know 2 blackpool season ticket holders and they both say that Vaughan would be the one they couldn't afford to lose. Basically Adam gets all the plaudits, but Vaughan is their real lynchpin.

Every team has a "cog" in it that makes everything else work. That's what Vaughan does. Adam puts the hard work of Vaughan to good use.

It's like how Lee Carsley was vital to us a few years back, but others got the plaudits.

Adam is very good at what he does though. He's not worth splashing megabucks on but he is a good player. Would be a great signing for the RS as he'd offer a different way of going forward other than the Gerrard/Torres two man team routine they have now.

Just got in from work and couldn't be bothered reading earlier posts, but I take it nothings happened today?

THREAD UPDATE:

Eric Dier has signed for Everton on loan from Sporting Lisbon until the end of the season, presumably with a view to a permanent deal.

Michael Owen isn't coming to Everton. Yay!

Jonny Heitinga is not subject of a bid from anyone yet.

Mbark Boussafa has declared an interest in joining Everton, but it's purely journo rumour talk at the moment.

Several signings in the pipeline, but nothing as of yet.

Who put the ball in the RS net? Super Lee Carsley! Great player for us.

If you think Adam will make RS better then lets hope he doesn't end up going there. I really like them being sh!t - long may it continue.
