I think DK raises a good point about Adam; will he be able to accept not being the top dog? We he be able to play for the team, and not be the team?

If he can, then he's quality and I'd love us to sign him.

The fact that he wanted to prove himself instead of playing on in a Mickey Mouse league says a lot about his character.

I'd be very happy if we signed Charlie Adam. He was brilliant against the unspeakables in the week. Some of the passes he made were sublime. Commentator compared him to Glenn Hoddle, and wasn't too far wide of the mark as far as I could see from that game.

Really hope talks dont break down with Pienaar and this club. We need the dough big time! How will this effect the derby starting line up though?

Hopefully, not at all. Think Pienaar would love to play in the Derby and if he's indeed off, he'd be sure to give a class effort. Negotiations may thoroughly complicate all this.
