I wouldnt trust Kenwright to go the chippy is an excellent quote and is exactly why its not fun being an evertonian during a transfer window. Its pathetic that we accept and get excited over a mediocre signing NSNO and all that ,.....

Pink Floyd mate summed it as thus...

"Wrong, Do it again!"
"If you don't eat yer meat, you can't have any pudding. How can you
have any pudding if you don't eat yer meat?"

lol.

I can't post in a book but surely I can read my football's team forum on a fan site? No?

Guys as LCAB said earlier, any delays are because of complications with agents and Hoffenheim, not because Bill is a liar or Elstone has a big chin.

Ok?

No one is desputing that .. We all just think we could be linked with a few targets elsewhere too.. as that is what your scouts are for..every transfer window we seem to get linked to one player and drag it out for a week or two (as other teams are landing targets left right and centre) then we move to plan b and so on.... its just frustraiting.

Just because we haven't been told by LCAB that we are in negotiations with anyone else it doesn't mean we aren't. The Ba transfer is unusual, because LCAB only usually posts something when the player has already signed the dotted line and the OS is working out all its publicity stuff. We could well be looking at other players as well as Ba.

We could well be mate, in fact i would expect that we are... but recent transfer windows have proven we dither, mull, ponder, etc untill the player moves on elsewhere. We never seem to announce two signings within weeks of eachother and of which are both a decent standard. I lost all faith last summer, .. NSNO long gone.... we will wait round like sharks for the cheapest dead meat that nobody else wants its the everton way

Just thinkin, if we get Ba and then move for another forward as well do we all feel that this may herald the dawn of 442, or at least a bit more flexibility to play that way more often, particularly at home especially if we then make a move for a wide player ?

No, basically.
