This thread attracts the crazy rumour junkie in us all. I wont know what to do with myself IF we do actually sign someone, i,ll probably fcuk my tea all over my laptop and be out of action interweb wise for the foreseeable future.

I think there will be less visitors to this thread when someone puts pen to paper. Its the thrill of the chase and all that!

I still think this thread is a bad idea.

Surely it would be better just to make an individual thread when you have some actual news, LCAB, mate?

It would save you hassle, and probably increase efficiency at workplaces around the world, as there won't be 1000s of GOT-ers F5'ing this thread for 3 months!

I'd imagine responding to questions and speculation in here for months is more effort than making a single thread every time you know something concrete; i.e "Blah Blah is close to signing", "So and so is going on loan to ___" and so on.

Because when these things happen they spawn their own threads anyway.

I'm sure if you texted someone they could make a thread conveying the information just as well as a post in here would.

Actually, a thread saying "LCAB update : We're signing ____" would stand out more than a post in this crowded, tangent-orgy of a thread.

So yeah, I'll swerve this cluttered mess myself and just keep going to your profile > find all posts > and reading everything just you've posted! Much more effective!
