Maybe he's being a blert etc because he isn't being played in his World Cup winning position by Moyes? Not condoning a sulky attitude if he has one, just throwing it out there.

either way, regardless, he should conduct himself as a professional..
as you said, not condoning a sulky attitude.

a ) asking to be subbed V. Blackpool
b ) Smiling when subbed

these things get under my skin personally.

a) He asked to be subbed because of an injury. I guess you could take that either as being proactive by warning Moyes he can't continue, or that he is being a soft lad. I don't know him personally so wouldn't be able to make a call either way.
b) Some people said he smiled, others said he didn't. I didn't see the smile myself.

I guess what I'm saying is this attuide thing of his is people's perception, not facts, and how people interpret what they see.
I totally agree with you about those things getting my skin also, providing that's how it is.

Footy players aren't robots I suppose, they're employees like you and me. He's probably thinking (and here I am guessing! :) ) that "hey I got to a WC Final at CB and Moyesey the tit won't give me a go". His workrate will drop, he'll believe his own hype and become agitated.

Fair enough mate..

Fair enough mate..

Dissapointed, was waiting for my first proper discussion/arguemet/popcorn moment with somebody on here, and you go and reply is such a calm collected and reasonable way even though you disagree with me! :P

Chico/RFUS, is this the part where I ask if he wants a bum?

Like I said.

It's amazing what happens when you play players in their preferred positions.

We were all (or at least I was) slating Jags when he was at right back the preseason he was bought when he wasn't a right back. Put him at CB and presto, he plays up to his potential.

Guess what? Same for Johnny too.

This is spot on, i remember most of the gwladys street calling for Jags to be sold when moyes was playing him as a centre mifield.
It was exactly the same situation as Johnny.

He was the only defender last night who dropping back to take the ball from the keeper. Howard ignored him and punted it everytime tho.

Is anyone going to back this up this some evidence? Heitinga has never smiled when he's been subbed. It was said after the West Brom game and it's completely untrue.
